Nukon Fiber Laser Technology
The Fiber laser technology is distinct from that of the standard solid-state laser.
Fiber Lasers are exceptionally powerful!
They are made of two of the most innovative and sophisticated laser technologies –optical fiber and semiconductor diodes. In the process, the lasers stimulate diode as the source of light to drive and activate the fiber. The laser ray is generated in the optical fiber and then it is transmitted via the flexible resistant wire. The fibers and rare-earth ions are doped collectively facilitating high power generation of the extremely small core that efficiently creates powerful lasers with superior beam quality. Thus, the fiber lasers are pertinent to amplifying light. The concepts engaged behind these lasers are to some extent the same as those of laser diodes and the gas lasers. The compact style of the laser however helps to prevent alignment concerns as they can come in several forms adding advantages over other lasers. The fiber core has the minimum thickness- only some micrometers. The transmission of the laser ray through the cutting heads and the resonator is passed. There is no requirement for mirrors, thus, the costly replacement of the mirrors can also be avoided.
